Tie is one of the managing partners of KeyCity Capital the World’s #1 at Connecting Capital to Wealth, and he knows how to create success! Along with his partners, Tie creates legacy wealth through RE and strategic alternative investments that maximize the 4 Keys to Wealth: Cash Flow, Equity, Appreciation, and Tax Shelter.


He is an internationally renowned speaker on real estate, finance, leadership, and entrepreneurship. He has been investing in real estate since 2004, with over 325 transactions and over $40 Million under management. He has business interests in over 7 countries and 3 continents, as well as clients all over the world. Tie Lasater and his partners at KeyCity Capital were inducted into the International Investing Hall of Fame through Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad organization and were recently named one of the Top 100 Real Estate Companies in Top 100 Magazine. KeyCity Capital was also recently nominated for Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies

Tie and his partners have acquired millions in properties across the United States focusing on residential and commercial multifamily real estate as well as multi-tenant commercial property in top U.S. growth markets. 

He is passionate about building Legacy Wealth together with his partners and investors. Tie brings together some of the most influential business leaders, investors, celebrities, and startups that he has worked with, done business with, and spoken with on stages across the world. Some of these influencers include Mel Gibson, Kathy Ireland, Michael Irvin, Vanilla Ice, Randi Zuckerberg, and Bruce Buffer. 

Most important to Tie is his amazing wife Karah and their 3 kids. Both Tie and Karah are passionate about philanthropy and their work with charities. Karah currently manages a charity focused on building a future for young single mothers. Tie and Karah are also passionate about providing charitable work for orphaned children in the U.S., China, and Africa. They are currently working on the planning stages for an orphanage they are working to build in East Africa.

Charlie Dombek, CPA

President & Chief Client Officer

Charlie is a senior partner at KeyCity Capital. He manages the firm’s asset-backed lending and currency trading platforms and is responsible for raising capital for the firm’s real estate and alternative investment funds. KeyCity is a mid-market private equity firm that has completed more than 500 real estate transactions and has over $100m in assets under management. KeyCity also operates an asset-backed lending platform and currency trading platform that has originated more than $300m in entertainment bridge loans to independently produced major motion pictures with a production value of over $1b. Charlie founded the firm’s currency trading platform which has generated a fixed 20 percent annualized rate of return to its clients since inception.


Charlie began his career at Ernst and Young and was a practicing CPA for more than 20 years.  He is one of the foremost authorities on domestic and international tax planning and mitigation.  He is the founder of XWealth Strategies which is an advisory firm that accelerates the way the mass affluent grow their wealth by engineering tax-efficient investment strategies and by improving investment performance through access to passive real estate and alternative investments. His clients include family offices, professional athletes, entertainers, and highly successful healthcare professionals.


Outside of the office, Charlie can be found around the world in the streams and rivers with a fly rod in his hand and chasing world championships on the men’s senior tennis circuit.

Boone Lasater 

Chief Operating Officer

Boone is a managing partner of KeyCity Capital, the World's #1 at Connecting Capital to Wealth. Boone spent many of his early business years in the world of public accounting. With a degree from Tarleton University in accounting, Boone worked for 6 years in public tax and audit accounting before transitioning into private equity. Boone then began working in PE Oil and Gas and navigated all the way to Assistant Controller at his last position before venturing into KeyCity Capital with his current partners.

With Keycity Capital, Boone and his partners have been inducted to the Rich Dad Hall of Fame sponsored by Robert Kiyosaki, as well as nominated as a Top 100 Real Estate Investment Firm by Entrepreneur Magazine.

He is married to his wife, Dana, who is a pediatric emergency medicine physician assistant at one of the nation's top-ranking Children's hospitals. Together they have 2 fur children, Twix (Chocolate Lab) and Oliver (Miniature Aussie). Boone has numerous outdoor hobbies that he enjoys, especially fishing and golfing.

Boone looks forward to future growth and success together with his partners as they create legacies together.

Leigh Archer

Chief Acquisitions Officer 

Leigh, one of the Managing Partners of KeyCity Capital, is passionate about all things real estate. He has been involved in multiple capacities for the past decade in the ever-changing landscape of real estate brokerage, management, and investment spaces. Born and raised in Western Canada, Leigh approaches business and life with a broad international perspective of business & real estate investing. He and his family have lived overseas teaching business, English, and leadership training throughout Eastern Europe. 

He got his start in the real estate business as an agent and ran a successful company helping clients buy and sell property. It was at that time that he discovered the joy of becoming a professional investor.  Prior to his foray into investing, Leigh had been involved in a variety of industries that helped shaped his ability for growth within systems, processes, and business development. He brings that edge to the KeyCity Capital team.

With over 10 years of experience in real estate, the tipping point to pursue investing full time happened when KeyCity Capital was just an idea. While in its infancy, Leigh saw the potential and opportunity, went all-in, and has never looked back!

Leigh is supported by his amazing wife of 17 years and his 2 kids. They love to travel, experience new cultures, and see the world in its fullness.


Mark Mize

Chief Financial Officer

Mark brings a vast amount of financial experience to KeyCity Capital focused on creating and building companies. With over 25 years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, and corporate finance, he specializes in corporate accounting, capital structure refinancing, valuation, and financial analysis. Mark has a significant background directing and leading the financial operations at multiple companies. He has served as CFO at public and private companies and is a highly regarded financial accounting and reporting executive. His leadership illustrates extensive experience in upstream, midstream, and downstream with proficiency and expertise in internal accounting control, financial reporting, and compliance. 


Prior to joining KeyCity Capital, he was a consultant for RPA Advisors focusing on financial and turnaround advisory services, enterprise valuation, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, business plan analysis, and liquidity forecasting. While at RPA, he advised clients in the oil and gas industry. Previously, he founded Halcon Resources where he served as Executive Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer. While at Halcon, he executed a reverse merger with publicly traded Ram Energy. Following the merger, he led a complete restructuring of the management team and successfully transitioned the Company to the NYSE. In the subsequent years, Mark led teams that raised in excess of $6 billion in capital for multiple transactions. Prior to founding Halcon, Mark worked for Petrohawk Energy serving as the Executive Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer. He also occupied the position of Chief Ethics Officer and Insider Trading Compliance Officer. During his time as CFO, he helped grow the company from a $50MM investment into a corporate divestiture of $15 billion cash, in just 7 years. Prior to Petrohawk Energy, he served as the Director of Financial Reporting at Cabot Oil & Gas. Mark began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as part of their audit practice. While at PWC, he served a variety of companies including Cabot Oil & Gas, Newfield Exploration, El Paso Energy, TransAmerican Refining, TransTexas Gas, Lyondell, and Equistar. 


Mark holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Houston where he is currently a board member of the Bauer School of Business. In addition, he is a Certified Public Account.

Ryan Nanney

Corporate Controller

Ryan holds 10+ years of experience in managerial roles within Real Estate and Property Management Accounting, with over 5 of those years as a Corporate Controller. He takes pride in focusing on attention to detail to ensure clean and timely financials are produced. Improving processes, developing efficiencies, and building solid accounting teams is the foundation of his leadership. Ryan has a passion for building a solid accounting structure to produce quality data and information for business analysis and operational decision making. He strives to continue his growth and improvement in leadership and industry expertise while building upon our solid financial team at KeyCity Capital. 

Ryan holds a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington and completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin.

Meliea Ware

VP of Operations

Meliea is goal-driven in both her professional and personal life. She is passionate about enabling KeyCity Capital’s clients and team to achieve their dreams through the powerful medium of investing. With her background in business and real estate along with her leadership skills, she is able to help integrate and grow KeyCity Capital to even higher achievement levels. Her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology provides a unique perspective in managing others to achieve their highest potential.

Meg Dubbs

Creative & Marketing Director

Meg has over 25 years of experience in the design and marketing industry. Design, Marketing, and Business have provided a multitude of opportunities and experiences, contributing to her ongoing growth and expertise in the cross-disciplinary fields of marketing and creative development. Completing a Master's in Design Management through Savannah College of Art and Design, enhanced her practice of interdisciplinary collaboration and the integration of tangible design thinking in all levels of strategy, planning, creative problem-solving, design management, collaboration, and teamwork.

Jordan Jardine

Director of Investor Relations

Jordan is a Dallas native and received a B.A. from Southern Methodist University. Her client relationship experience started at Vontobel Swiss Wealth Advisors, a private Swiss bank, where she helped establish the first onshore presence for the bank. From there, she worked as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch and most recently as a sales consultant with NexPoint Securities, a real-estate alternative investment arm of Highland Capital Management.


Jordan carries with her the importance of building client trust and making sure the client feels secure in their decision to invest. This same enjoyment of relationship-building carries over to her non-profit work; where she serves as a board member of the AiRs Foundation and Dallas Symphony Orchestra.

Carey Erff

Director of Property Management

In addition to being an attorney, Carey brings to KeyCity Capital over 15 years of multi-family property management experience, overseeing portfolios in excess of 3000 units. Carey’s passion for developing people and teams will be instrumental as the Property Management division of KeyCity Capital continues to grow. She likes to challenge herself mentally and physically, most recently by training for a triathlon.

Carey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both Business Administration and Accounting from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania, and a Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M School of Law.

Matt Ware

Quality Control Manager

A graduate of West Texas A&M, Matt started his career as a teacher and a coach. As much as he loved the kids, he wanted something that would provide more for his family. He moved into the Oil and Gas sector leading and managing crews in the Texas area. As his family grew, he had the desire to be home more and provide a legacy for his family - which landed him with KeyCity Capital. When he isn't providing for his family, Matt enjoys spending all of his free time with his wife and 3 little boys. 

Jason Lamb

Regional Field Manager

Jason comes to us with over 20 years of experience in all aspects of Construction, Maintenance, and Construction Management. In his career he has received many Awards and Certificates for his continued dedication to his craft and furthering his education in his field.


He is a father to be a beautiful 8 year old daughter, Blakely Rose. In their free time they enjoy hitting the gym, fishing, baking, cooking, and watching their favorite movies. Jason received multiple certificates from Sacramento City College in Sacramento, Ca. He loves to find ways to continually better himself and those around him.

Ellen Gonitzke

Assistant Controller

Ellen is the heart of the accounting team at KeyCity Capital. Graduating with her bachelor's degree from Texas Woman's University, she majored in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration. Bringing years of valuable experience in private equity and fund-structured real estate investment firms, she provides exceptional investment and reporting services to the multitude of clients here at KeyCity Capital.

To stay focused at work, Ellen balances her time between the office, being active, and enjoying DFW with her family. Mountain biking, pilates, and paddleboarding are just three of the many activities she enjoys doing here in the DFW area. She also loves performances from the Dallas Summer Musicals and Dallas Symphony Orchestras whenever she can find the time.

Justine Segura

Investor Coordinator

Justine has been with us for over two years and has continued to grow within the company as we grow exponentially. Her focus within KeyCity Capital lies in her ability to make sure the investors have a smooth onboarding experience.


Part of her responsibilities consists of assisting the investor in getting paired with a new custodian and transferring them from one to another. She stays with the investor during the whole process, all the way through until they have successfully onboarded and can start earning the returns on their investments. Justine’s extraordinary nurturing and problem-solving skills stem from being a hardworking, loving mother of two wonderful children. 

Krissy Froid

Tenant Relations Specialist

Krissy has over 13 years of experience in tenant relations including ground-up multi-family, retail, industrial, and office spaces. Along with tenant relations, she has an extensive background in property management, leasing, and real estate. She is highly experienced in building tenant relations, working with vendors, lease negotiations, and managing and creating budgets.


Krissy is defined as being a dedicated employee who works hard, is devoted, ambitious, and passionate. Her goal is to advance in her career on all levels, look for opportunities to enhance her abilities, and learn new things both professionally and personally. Not only is she driven in her career, but she is passionate about power building and advocating healthy eating practices for women with eating disorders.

Evan Russo

Transaction Coordinator 

Real Estate allowed Evan to Discover the "4 Keys of Wealth" before he graduated from high school. From this unique vantage point, Evan felt it best to skip over the stereotypical collegiate route that so many of his peers were traveling, and instead start to study investment. Just a few short years later, Evan has personally acquired 6 rental properties to call his own.. all before the age of 21.    


As the Transaction Coordinator for KeyCity Capital, Evan takes immense pride in making sure every deal fits within the buying criteria, closes on time, and maximizes the investors' returns to the fullest of his abilities. In his personal time, Evan loves spending time outdoors, has a passion for cars, aviation, family, and of course, building a better real estate portfolio.

Paul Johnson

Project Coordinator 

Paul originally planned to go to college to study nursing until one day he woke up and realized he wasn't getting out of it what he felt he was putting in. As a result of this realization, Paul decided to try his hand at the entrepreneurial route and joined KeyCity Capital as our Construction Administrator. In his professional life, Paul strives for nothing less than to satisfy high expectations. In his spare time, Paul enjoys working out, exploring the outdoors, and working on projects with his hands.

Iris Wang

Staff Accountant

Iris came to the United States in 2012 and started her journey in the Accounting field. She received her education at Louisiana State University at Shreveport with a bachelor’s in Business Administration. She gained experiences over the years on personal and business taxes, as well as small business bookkeeping by working at a local tax firm.


Iris always had a passion for Real Estate Accounting, therefore she joined KeyCity Capital as a Staff Accountant focusing on Property Management. 

Philip Eme

Staff accountant

Philip has a strong accounting background having obtained a Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona in December of 2019. He also possesses a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, class of May 2018. Philip comes to our team with over 3 years of experience in the field of accounting. He has great analytical skills, organization skills, software skills and is well versed in Excel, Quickbooks, and Netsuite. Philip takes his job very seriously as he is highly motivated and above all, determined to excel and possess a great work ethic. A true asset to our team, Philip excels in the art of teamwork and professional communication skills. 

Donna Wishard

Executive Assistant

​Donna comes to us with a degree in Communications but brings dynamic experience from a wide variety of industries. She has worked everywhere, from politics to facility management, event coordination, the music business in Nashville, auto finance, mortgage lending, and bank acquisitions.


She enjoys being the “go-to” person that the team can depend upon. If she doesn’t know the answer to the question, she makes it her business to know who does or where to get it. Donna is a self-proclaimed handyman/office machine repairman.


Donna is a wine enthusiast, animal lover, and enjoys her downtime with her husband, Jeff, and one very spoiled cat named Calvin.
